The Made in Japan Traditional series was born from the fusion of Fender's traditional instrument-making aesthetics and Japan's sophisticated craftsmanship. Fender's authentic DNA is revived with reliable Made in Japan quality.
The Made in Japan Traditional 2025 Collection '60s Stratocaster® is a special model based on the Made in Japan Traditional 60s Stratocaster®, featuring a limited-edition look for 2025. The "Black Pearl" and "White Pearl" models feature a special pearlescent finish on the body and headstock, paired with the gold hardware for an even more elegant and sophisticated look. The "Competition Black / 3-Color Sunburst" and "Competition 3-Color Sunburst / Aged Natural" models do not feature the traditional chromatic Competition Line, but instead incorporate Fender's signature 3-Color Sunburst color into the body design, allowing you to experience a different side of Fender's unique style through the three lines. The "Stardust Pink" and "Stardust Blue" models feature a pastel hue that's currently trending, blended with sparkle, and finished with Fender's signature burst pattern. This is a new proposal that is only possible with Fender's wide range of colors.
The product specifications include a gloss-finished basswood body. The 9.5-inch-radius "U"-shaped maple neck with 21 vintage-style frets delivers the classic playability you expect from the Traditional series. The six-saddle vintage-style Synchronized Tremolo bridge and original pickups selected specifically for the Traditional series deliver realistic, musical vintage tone. The narrow nut width makes it easy to play for Japanese players. This series reflects solid guitar craftsmanship and a flexible response to player needs.
