From his early days as a sought-after session player to his legendary runs with David Lee Roth, Mötley Crüe and Rob Zombie, John 5 has spent nearly three decades cementing his place as one of the most in-demand guitarists on the planet. A lifelong Telecaster fanatic and advocate, John 5 designed this outrageously modernized machine to embody everything he loves about the Tele, while pushing it into bold new territory for a new generation of hard rock players.
Finished in a commanding black with matching headcap, the Phantom Telecaster® is as visually striking as it is sonically ferocious. DiMarzio® D'Activator™ pickups in the neck and bridge deliver the high-output, high-gain tones John 5 is known for, with tight low-end response and searing clarity that can cut through any mix. A Floyd Rose® FRTS2000 Special Series tremolo opens the door to extreme pitch manipulation and dive-bomb theatrics, without ever losing tuning stability. With a stripped-down control layout, a single volume knob and killswitch, this guitar keeps the focus where it belongs: on the music and the moment.

BLACK FINISH WITH MATCHING HEADCAP
An elegant matching painted headcap complements the sleek black finish, tying the instrument together for a clean, cohesive look.
"C"-SHAPED MAPLE NECK WITH 12"-RADIUS EBONY FINGERBOARD
The comfortable "C"-shaped maple neck is ideal for all playing styles, while the 12" radius flattens the Ebony fingerboard for easier chording and effortless bends.
DIMARZIO® D'ACTIVATOR™ NECK AND BRIDGE PICKUP
Specifically voiced to duplicate the impact of active pickups but with enhanced dynamics, these DiMarzio® D'Activator™ humbuckers provide harmonically rich modern crunch.
CUSTOM SINGLE VOLUME KNOB & KILLSWITCH CONTROL LAYOUT
A streamlined control layout keeps a single master volume knob within easy reach, while the killswitch delivers the scratch and stutter effects integral to modern playing - cutting the signal to the amp for as long as it's engaged.
FLOYD ROSE® FRTS2000 SPECIAL SERIES TREMOLO
The double-locking design allows you to lock your guitar in tune at the nut and at the bridge, resulting in excellent tuning stability and sustain throughout your most aggressive pull-ups and dive bombs.
SIGNATURE NECK PLATE
The custom neck plate is outfitted with the artist's original artwork - a fittingly personal touch that leaves no doubt as to the instrument's pedigree.
